The roads

South-west of the city the road along the Nemunas towards Birštonas, Balbieriškis and Alytus is the one locals use: consistent surface, long sweeping bends and very little traffic outside weekends.

Northwards, the Kėdainiai and Panevėžys direction is flatter and faster. Either way you are out of the city within ten minutes, which is not true of Vilnius.

Availability
