What documents are usually required?

A valid driving licence, a passport or ID, and a credit card in the main driver's name for the deposit. Some partners also ask for proof of return travel. We confirm the exact list for the specific car with your options.

Is a security deposit required?

Almost always, and the amount depends on the car and the partner rather than on us. It is normally blocked on a credit card at handover and released after the car is returned and checked.

How quickly will I hear back?

We usually reply within one to three working hours with the options we can actually confirm for your dates. Requests sent overnight are answered the next morning.

Getting the car to you

Most partners are based in the outer districts rather than the Old Town, so delivery is usually the sensible option. Delivery to a hotel, apartment or office in the city may be available depending on the partner, and is often included within the central zone.

Vilnius Airport is fifteen minutes from the centre. Airport handover is possible with several partners when arranged in advance — see the Vilnius Airport page for how that works.

Driving and parking in the city

The Old Town is a paid zone with narrow one-way streets and cobbles; a wide SUV is not the easy option there. Underground parking at hotels and the Gedimino area is the practical answer, and most partners are relaxed about it as long as the car is not left on the street overnight in the centre.

Winter roads are cleared quickly in the city but the side streets stay slippery. All-wheel drive is worth having between December and February.

What people rent here

Business travellers take executive sedans and the Taycan; visitors on a long weekend take an M4 or a 911; weddings and events take a G 63. Corporate rentals concentrate on weekdays, so weekend availability for the same cars is usually better.
